We have sailed twice before, on RC's Voyager and Mariner. We had been very pleased with both previous cruises and our TA suggested we would be even happier trying Celebrity, " a step higher in service and food quality" she said. We couldn't imagine being higher but we signed on to try. Was she ever wrong!!

We arrived the day before and stayed at the Sheraton Plantation...beautiful Hotel poor service! I asked the wait staff if I could order a coffee outside (right beside the dining area) and was told they were too busy...3 tables being served. No taxi's available, after waiting 45 min for a called taxi , the valet (God bless him) "stole" the shuttle and drove us to our destination AND picked us up, he would probably get in trouble if they knew as he asked and was told because of insurance they weren't allowed to take us anywhere except the airport.

We arrived at the ship at 1PM and were onboard within 40 min...excellent embarkation process. Our room was ready and our attendant, while shy, seemed great. Room was as expected with balcony except it smelled badly of dampness, the bathroom stunk of mold and when brought up to our attendant he said it would be taken care of. When we later returned to our room it did smell better and the shower had been completely wiped down with a strong disinfectant. Mold was still evident in the grout lines of the shower but the smell was gone.
