We, my husband and I, sailed the Carnival Legend on February 17, 2008. It was a seven day cruise of the Western Caribbean, sailing out of Tampa and calling on the following ports: Grand Cayman, Cozumel, Belize and Honduras. My husband is in his early 50's and I am a few years younger. This was our 12th cruise, our 8th on Carnival.

What we didn't realize when we booked this sailing was that many schools in the northeast have the entire week of Presidents Day off for Winter Break. There were a lot of children on board this cruise. We stayed in the adult areas (e.g., Adult Pool, Casino, etc.) and weren't too affected by this. The cruise was completely sold out.

We usually book our sailings about a year out. However, there was a change in one of the cruises we had scheduled on another line, and we wound up having to do some rearranging. Consequentially, we booked this cruise just a few months prior to sailing. For dinner, our first choice is to attend the early seating. Between my husband and I, and all of our medications, sitting for dinner at 8:15 and not actually eating anything until 9:00, was out of the question.
