We just returned from our 5 night cruise. We booked through a travel agent and let Royal Caribbean handle the airfare. We flew down on the same day as the cruise, left home at 6:00am and with a connection we were at the ship by 12:30pm. Easy time through the embarkment process. No lines, in our room by 1:15pm. Balcony Junior Suite was perfect for us. We were 2 adults/2 kids. The big bed was very comfortable. The pull-out couch was just OK. The view was incredible! The food was better than I expected in the My Fair Lady. We ate there every night except the one night we ate in Chops. That was incredible and I highly recommend that experience. The service and food was outstanding. Breakfast we had the buffet- lots of options, fruit, eggs, you name it. All of the food was delicious, some more tasty then others but surprisingly creative. Dinner had lots of options for my picky eaters. We only had lunch on board at the day at sea.The buffet was fine as always. In Belize we booked with Coral Breezes and went on a snorkel trip to Caye Caulker and Shark/Ray alley. Excellent day of fun and sun. In Cozumel we took a $12.00 taxi ride to Playa Paradiso and enjoyed the food and ambience. The water was warm, the beach a bit rocky but a great day overall. In Key West we just wandered around and enjoyed the food and shopping.

We never went to any shows on board but enjoyed watching Karaoke and played Bingo. My children did not do any planned activities but the older one (16) made friends on her own, and the younger(12) enjoyed ping pong and the game room. We visited the Casino once but did not gamble much. The staff on the ship was outstanding. Our stateroom attendant named James found us extra pillows and made great towel animals each day. All the staff was helpful and seemed to enjoy their jobs. We loved the pools and hot tubs and and we used the weight room every day. It would be nice if they had a big water jug available. My daughter loved running around the top deck every morning! The only down side to the trip was the return flight. Our original flight on Northwest was delayed in Florida to the point where we missed our connection and we had to spend the night in Detroit. The airline paid for the room and all our meals so although we were not thrilled to be in Detroit, it didn't cost us anything and we made the best of it. Since this was our first cruise of this kind I can say without hesitation that for us it was relaxing and fun and we would consider going on another cruise in the future.
