our cabin size was quite adequate and the amenities were good you get a shell in your room with shampoo, conditioner, hair gel, razors, toothpaste, and rolaids. we traveled with a group of 4 cabins and not all had all the stuff in there so if you need something ask you cabin steward our cabin steward kept up on our room very well except for the blue towels they give you to use we had to ask every morning for them when we went up on deck or on an excursion, it was no big deal , whey were warm and just out of the dryer so I figured they just didn't have enough to replenish the night before he also kept pur cooler of water and pop filled with ice.
The drink guys and gals were awesome at first they seem to bug you a bit but you get used to it and then you have your favorites who remember your number and know what you like to drink (big dick and little dick were our favorites) we met big dick right away and we noticed his name tag and called him richard he said no you can call me big dick there was also a guy in the bar in the paris restaurant (ioseph) i think this was his last name, but he told some interesting stories in some sort of english..
the meals were excellent you always had food in front of you at dinner and they entertained you most nights while they serve desserts and the desserts were great..especially the baked alaska yummy
the food in the paris restaurant was good too and on the lido deck try the pizza and the burgers these were my standard
josh the cruise director does a great job and he is very funny one night he was more entertaining than the comedian
sarah and tina the activities directors do a great job keeping you entertained with a ton of activities, those girls are flying all over the place
overall we had a great time we got to the port shortly after 11 and after 15 minutes going through security we went right up to an agent and after 5 minutes there it was up to the holding are where you get you sign and sail after about 1/2 hour here we were on board . probably by 12:15 we were told to stay out of our cabins til 1 so we went to the paris and ate some lunch and by that time it was 1
at st thomas you go through immigration this line was the entire length of the ship but once it started moving it only took us about 15 minutes to get through it so don't be scared if you are lined up in the atrium and you have an early excursion it goes fast and they also come through asking what time your excursion is and move you up if needed
disembarkment was also very fast they started calling colors around 9 and we never figured they would clear the ship by 10 but it went very fast and before you know it you are out on the sidewalk and your cruise is over :(
I would definitely cruise carnival again
it was a great deal for a vacation
