Sail Date: Feb 2008

This was my first, and probably last, RCCL experience; I've sailed twice before, both on Celebrity's Galaxy, so I expected something comparable on the parent company's ship. I was disappointed in several areas.

I drove down to Cape Liberty with family (my husband and cousins sailed also) and embarkation was the first impression. There were signs posted about a complimentary physical if one was experiencing any illness as there was a heavy incidence of a stomach ailment in the NJ area (especially where the ship was docked), yet no hand sanitization stations were present here or onboard! Having completed our documentation online, we were cleared through rather quickly, only to wait as they boarded us by numbers onto shuttles taking us to the ship.

Once on board, our cabins were easy enough to find (no assistance was offered), and our luggage was actually there waiting (minus one piece which arrived by dinner time). Cabin was nice enough (we had a balcony), but we were dismayed to find NO bathrobes or amenities such as Q-tips and cotton balls (minor inconvenience as I do usually carry my own), which we had on Galaxy.
