Ten of us, all in our 50s and 60s, flew in around midnight on Saturday. We stayed at Comfort Suites Airport & Cruise. There shuttle was quick to pick us up, and it was a short ride to the hotel. The McDonald's and Taco Bell next door were both open for midnight snacks. We signed up for the cruise shuttle when we checked in, and the earliest time open was 1:45. We asked again the next morning, and were able to get on a shuttle that left at 12:15. The hotel was fine. It had a good breakfast, and was FULL of cruisers either coming or going. On Sunday morning we walked over to K-Mart to purchase a few last minute items.

We thought embarkation went smoothly, but most of our luggage didn't make it to our rooms until dinner time or after. A few pieces of luggage from our group had to be retrieved from the lobby. When we left it with the porters on the cruise dock, every piece had a tag with our room number. When we finally met up with our luggage again, almost everyone's original tags were gone. Some suitcases were even missing luggage tags that had previously traveled the world. It was our mistake, as we thought they worked for Princess, so we didn't tip the porters. I don't recall seeing anyone on on our crowed shuttle tipping the porters. Oops.

At St Martin, we went on a shuttle to Orient Beach for $6 pp. It was a nice day. On St. Thomas, we went on the Godfrey tour. It is a great tour for $25. At Princess Cays, we enjoyed the beach and snorkeled with our own gear.
