Just back from a 5 night cruise. This was my husband and my 4th cruise. Have been on the Millennium, Caribbean Princess & Carnival.

We stayed at the Hampton Inn & Suites Blue Lagoon the night before the cruise. It was a good deal and the hotel was close to the airport and the pier. Rooms were clean and the staff friendly. They had a shuttle to the pier for $20/couple.

Embarkation: fast and easy -10 min. and we were on the ship. Room: we had a balcony, room was clean with lots of storage. Food: EXCELLENT, ate everywhere except the Aqua spa cafe. Room service was great also. Entertainment: singers/dancers were just OK. The comedian and juggler were funny and entertaining. Pool area: It does get busy around the pool on sea days so you had to find a chair early in the morning or you were out of luck. Staff: EXCELLENT, always smiling saying hello, friendly, happy, I could go on and on about how good they are (too bad the hospitality people at home were not that happy and friendly!!) Ship condition: Most areas of the ship are nice. The carpets are dirty and stained throughout the ship but I was walking on them not eating off them! Everywhere was clean which is important. Computers: were not as slow as some people have mentioned. We used them everyday and had no problems on them. Aqua Spa: had massages which were great and the girls were very friendly. Spa area is gorgeous with fabulous views (windows in the treatment rooms). Overall we had a great time. The ship was a perfect size. The ships we were on before (Princess, Carnival) were huge compared to this boat but we find the food to be 100% better on a smaller ship. We still like the Millennium ship better overall but the Century ship is not far behind. Would rate it 9/10.
