After reading some review from cruisers in Oct. and Nov. I was a bit concerned. I can only say that since the time the ship was put into operation until now there has been great improvement. We were pleased with everything. The Quest is beautiful and very well maintained. We especially liked the small size. The staff were all wonderful and took care of your every need. Becky, the cruise director was outstanding! What a personality! We had a veranda cabin and it was very nice to be able to use your balcony for early breakfasts and going through the Panama Canal. The bed was especially comfortable and the linens we wonderful. The "butler" was always there if we needed something with a pleasant smile and was never invading your privacy. We thought the meals and service in the dining room were done very well. We used the cafe at times and the food selection there was overwhelming. The specialty restaurants were good but I don't think much better than the dining room. We enjoyed the entertainment every night. We didn't use the gambling facilities. The only improvement that could be made was the lounges by the pool. There were not enough lounges in the shade and you had to be up at dawn in order to secure one that was in the shade. Some people left their things on them all day and didn't even show up for hours later. There has to be a better system. Shore excursions were ok.....maybe a bit overpriced. Some of these ports just are not equipped for tourism yet though we enjoyed them all. Embarkation and disembarkation were handled well. All in all it was a great cruise and I would use this Azamara ships again.
