First, I would go again,BUT. The cabins are smaller than other ships I've been on. We had a balcony room and sometimes we didn't use the balcony, but this time we did and loved it. I read alot about surly staff and dirty bathrooms, I did not find that to be true. The food however was not as good as other cruise lines. The NY strip steaks were paper thin and impossible to get a medium steak. The pizza has and off brand cheese so it is not a Pizza Hut or Domino's, Did I eat it YES. We were one hour late getting to one of our stops because a passenger had to be let off for emergency surgery, big deal. If you buy Mexican coffee and want to brew some on your trip take coffee filters. The rooms have a coffee pot and hair dryer. It was quite cool in LA and our first two days at sea and also the last day at sea. Sweat shirts or more. No one went in the pool only hot tub, burr getting out. We lucked out in Cabo and went whale watching. Mexicans must not have any laws about how close you can get unlike Hawaii, because we got really really close. When you get off the launch follow the shore line to your right until you get to a bar and restaurant named Arch and Anchor. That is where you can pay as little as $25 per person on the Echo catamaran, if you have a coupon or bluff that you had one. This is an American operation and has a bathroom for the 2 and 1/4 hr trip. Don't let anyone talk you out of going, and if you get sea sick go to the front desk and ask so the free bills they work fast and great. I didn't need them, but got some just in case I did need something. Have a ball.
