We sailed on the Destiny for the 2nd time on 2/3/08. We are 50 & 51 and this was our 4th Carnival cruise, 7th cruise overall.

We booked both a pre and post night stay at the Marriott San Juan Stellaris. The hotel is pricey, but clean and nice. We booked through a Priceline bid, which made the cost more reasonable. This hotel was great as we had some time to spend in San Juan, but would be expensive if all you do is sleep there.

We took a cab to Senor Frogs on Saturday night to meet some fellow cruisers from our roll call. This turned out to be the best thing we could have done! The group was great and we ended up spending quite a bit of time together. We even talked about a 'reunion' cruise. Read more
