We just returned from the Millenium on a 7 day eastern caribbean cruisewe arrived at the hotel in Ft. Lauderdale a day before the cruise. We stayed at the Comfort Inn near the airport. Clean room, a pool, complimentary breakfast buffet. All in all good value for the dollar.

Arrived at the pier at about 10:20 and were on the ship by about 11:20. Embarcation process was the best we ever had in our 7 cruises. Room was disappontingly small, so much so that there was barely enough room to walk past the foot of the bed. Bedding was very good and the bathroom was slightly larger than those on the Princess Grand class of ships with which we were very familiar.

There were several other major diappontments with this ship. The ship, as noted in other reviews, is badly in need of renovation. Huge gaps in the carpeting seams would catch your foot or the leg of a chair if moved. Badly stained seat cushions in all of the ships public areas. Wood railings were dried out and needed to be restained and varnished. Much of the metal on the ship was rusted and some of the arms on chairs were falling off.
