This was my second Celebrity Cruise, having been on the Galaxy 5 years ago. Since then, I've been on 3 Princess Cruises since and loved them very much.

We stayed 2 days prior to the cruise at the Marriott Residence Inn in Delray Beach, about 40 minutes north of Ft. Lauderdale via A1A. The Residence Inn is a very comfortable facility and one can walk all of downtown where excellent restaurants are. I have several family members in the area and it's really a great place to visit. The beach area is not as crazy as Ft. Lauderdale's.

We drove to Ft. Lauderdale on the day of embarkation and the winter season visitors were well under way. It seemed as if every bridge was up due to all the yachts in the Intercostal Waterway.
