We returned on January 19th 2008 from a Discovery land and cruise package. We were very impressed with both the land package that Discovery arranged and the cruise.

We booked our own flights to Buenos Aries on Aerolineas Argentinas. Mistake! All the negative things on the internet about this airline are all true! The flight price was very reasonable, but you get what you pay for.

Upon arrival at our Hotel the Sofitel (part of the land package) all went well. The Sofitel let us check in at 6:00 AM with no extra cost and we were so appreciative! We could sleep for a few hours before we went out on the streets of BA. A warning with Buenos Aries...very bad for thefts. Several people on our cruise got robbed in broad daylight in public.
