Ship Facts: Enchantment of the Seas Review (by Cruise Critic!) | Enchantment of the Seas Deck Plans
Great week on Enchantment
Please enter your review.Flew down to Ft.Lauderdale the day before the trip out of Albany New York. Spent the night in a nearby Sleep Inn which provided us with pool time in the morning, free breakfast, free shuttle from airport and to cruise terminal. Nice spot next door to shop for any last minute items also.

Departure: Shuttled over to nearby terminal at noon. Being a little bit nervous after reading reviews on how much a mob scene it is at this time, I was pleasantly surprised to arrive to no lines at all. Tagged bags, walked through to set up Sea Pass account and was on ship in less than 15 minutes. Proceeded right to Chops and reserved a Friday night reservation for the 6 of us for a birthday dinner on our last evening. Right from the get go, each and everyone of the staff bent over backward to be pleasant. Very genuine without making you feel that they were looking for a tip. We made our way to the Windjammer because we were starved. Windjammer fulfilled that need with every possible food one could imagine. Tasty to boot. Room was ready at 1p.m. Weather was perfect, sunny and 80's, so pooltime and liquid refreshments were how the first afternoon was spent. 6 p.m seating at the main dining room was great. First rate service with entertaining waiters. Delicious food. Musical after dinner in the theater was fun and finished up the day with a little casino action.

Day at Sea: As much fun as you could possible want or as much privacy and quiet as you could want. We had both. At times we just got our own little spot in the solarium for adults only and soaked up another sunny day. Dinner, show, and casino as usual.

Belize: Booked a snorkeling tour on our own. Fantastic tour with only 8 of us. Guided us on two different reefs which was loaded with fish and coral. Had another hour on their own little island with lunch and drinks and time to sit and play on the beach which was all our own. Calm, blue paradise.

Cozumel: Easily off the ship once again, taxied to Mr.Sanchos beach. We were going to go to Paradise Beach but was talked into this one instead by the driver. What a great decision. No cover, great beach, no crowds, reasonable priced drinks, waited on hand and foot, rest rooms, food, showers. Just perfect when blended in with another sunny warm day.

Key West: Took the Conch Train Tour. Relaxing, informative tour which showed us things we would have never have discovered ourselves. Then walked and hit some bars. Afternoon by the pool and then one of the highlights of the week, Chops. Well worth the $25 pp charge. Table next to the window watching the sunset, best waiters we have ever had, perfect presentation, tasty food every course, 2 and a half hours topped off by a birthday song by the waiters. And to top off the week, 3 of us won some big bucks at the casino.

After reading other reviews I realize that some folks are very very fussy. When I have staff waiting on me hand and foot, great food, sunny weather, great ports of call, I say this is 5 days in paradise.

Last day: Even when they called 4 colors at once, we only waited in line perhaps 10 mins. Once again, staff courteous to the end. Luggage was right there in one spot, taxis waiting for the short ride to the airport. Hour later we were on our way home. Sitting in my house at 5p.m.
