This was our third cruise (second on HAL). I am 40 and my DH is 43. We had a great overall experience. The food, service and especially the entertainment were just a little better than we had on the Statendam (and I was happy then!)

Embarkation was very easy. We arrived about 11:45am and were on the ship within 20 minutes. We had lunch on the Lido and our room was ready about 1:30pm. We had a balcony and had no issues with the air conditioning in our cabin (it was slightly warm one day but we closed the drapes and it cooled down).

The food was very good. We eat almost all meals in the dining room because we prefer the individual service. At the 6:15pm dinner, we had a table for six and greatly enjoyed our table mates. The service was not perfect (a forgotten soup here or salad there) but overall I was quite satisfied. Our cabin steward was wonderful and made a mean towel animal! Read more
