We had a nice time, was our 2nd time on the Sensation and our 24th cruise. Got a good deal, inside cabin. Plenty big enough for me and DW. We've done Nassau many times and really didn't take the cruise for the port but rather for a much needed long weekend away. The Nassau terminal/receiving area was horrible and worst than ever! Pushy locals, crowded, loud and miserable. We were going to take the ferry but they could not break a $20 at the ticket counter so we made our way to an over crowded taxi/van (driver was mean to several elderly folks) and took the ride to Atlantis. DW & I had a nice time there, plenty to see and do. It's bigger each time we go. We had BEAUTIFUL weather and smooth seas. The Sensation is in good shape, saw one bathroom overflowing but overall she is still a nice vessel and the crew keeps her clean. Our Cabin Stewart and dining team were great! The food was good, never really changes much but we are always happy with the menu. The biggest praise goes to Port Canaveral team and Carnival for improving the way V.I.P. Platinum members are boarded and also lead off the last morning. We had been jeered at on our last cruise due to poor or no signage showing the VIP areas and privileges. Over all, good cruise, good ship, good deal!
