Check-in: We were greeted as we entered the terminal by a congenial person who had our name on a list, then escorted us to the check-in lounge for passengers sailing in suites. Refreshments and comfortable seats awaited us as a personable young woman took our credit card info, processed out boarding cards, and took our photos. Then one of the officers escorted us on board and to our cabin. We dropped off our carry on bags, and headed for the dining room for lunch. Most passengers were at the buffet, but if you listened carefully to the announcements you would learn one of the main dining rooms was open. After a wonderful lunch, we retired to the cabin. Our bags arrived shortly and we unpacked. If you can afford it, get a Penthouse suite - three full room (a big bedroom, a big living room, and a bath with whirlpool tub.
Food: delicious and plenty. Although portions are not particularly large, there are several courses and if you want more, they will happily bring you all you want. Service was classy and attentive.
Entertainment: I confess, we didn't attend but two shows and enjoyed them both. We did participate in many on-board activities during the day and the murder mystery dinner.
Our cabin stewards were fantastic (we had two), the butler was terrific, and the concierge was very helpful. We had such a great time we prebooked another cruise while on board. I think NCL has a good thing going and is now at the top of our list. We've cruised Royal Caribbean and Princess before, but really like NCL!
