January 12th was our 1st cruise with RCI (3 times with Carnival - Eastern & Western Caribbean). We chose this one based on the ports and the preference for RCI by friends we were traveling with.

Overall, a great cruise experience. The ship is beautiful, the staff professional, the ports interesting. With each stop close by, the ship was often sailing at half speed which added to a smooth ride.

As others have noted, the quickest and cheapest way to get to the ship from SJU is to take a cab. Landing at 12:45, we were in our cabin by 2:00. Read more
