My first impression of this cruise ship was that it was old, small and oddly decorated compared to others we've been on with RCL and NCL. It looked aged as well. The colors of most areas was purple and bright colors. Starting with our room. I was blinded by the decor and choice of colors I thought I was in an Austin Powers movie. Our room was red and it even had a weird corner lamp attached the wall with an abstract picture. We had two port holes and our room was Forward. We could feel alot of movement and when the cruise docked in the bahamas I felt that the wall of our room was going to be pulled off. The anchor had to be rolling out right beneath us.
Rooms: Space was Plentiful. We welcomed feature compared to other cruise ships Room Bathroom: Spacious, liked how the door when open stuck to the wall without swinging. Beware: Water can get scolding Room Key: Unlike other cruise lines, this ship required not only an Cruise card to shop, but also a n extra key to access your room, it was a pain to keep up with both Loved: The running track on the top of the ship, the dining room and the evening shows Food: Not that great, kitchen areas were dark Best place to eat: Dining Room Pool Deck: Worn and had greasy food Buffet Area: Dark, old, best station: Pasta made fresh and meat carving station Customer Service/Staff: Knowledgeable, Helpful Elevators: Very Slow Stores: Some items reasonably priced. Transfer from Port Canaveral about 45 mins to hour Embarkation Process: Fast and Painless Disembarkation Express Service: Worth it! Shore Excursions: It was a short cruise, we just toured Nassau
Would not sail this ship or ship in it's class again.
