Let me start by saying I've never written a review before. Just wanted to share some of our experiences with others. Traveling with a group of 8, ages 22-85. We stayed the night before at Econolodge in Ft Lauderdale. NOT a good neighborhood! Room was clean but very old and not very nice for the price. The ship is showing signs of age I'm afraid. Balcony room on 7, dresser drawers sticking and nice new bed but the rest of the room just seemed worn. Had off and on again problems with the toilets not flushing. The first time it happened we called and were told it was a ship problem. The happened several times during the cruise. Dining and our wait staff were great. Room stewart also. Overall people were friendly and helpful. We were unable to tender in Grand Cayman and I understand the is quite common. We had an extra sea day. Everyone very disappointed. We were reimbursed for our missed excursions but no port charge refund. Ocho Rios was beautiful and made up for everything else. Dunns River Falls not to be missed. Mahogany Beach was a perfect place to relax and enjoy the ocean. The rock wall and bungee jump were only open very limited hours because of the high winds so the younger ones with us weren't able to try them out. Shows were a must for us every night, be sure to go early they fill up quick. Missed the show one night no place to sit! The ones we saw were great! The worst was leaving the ship, they called 4 colors at once and everyone was herded in and then stopped dead in our tracks as everyone was trying to leave at once. Never seen it so unorganized. Very warm and stuffy with everyone just standing and and no one moving. Took roughly 1/2 hour or more to get off the boat. Overall there is no such thing as a bad cruise, but much prefer the Serenade over the Enchantment.
