About us- We are from California, in our mid-20's, and both have professional carriers. We are pretty adventurous and were looking to have fun and relax without being bored.

Before the Cruise- We flew into San Juan a day early and stayed at the Gallery Inn in Old San Juan. Not a cheap place, but it was an absolutely beautiful hotel, and a great place to explore Old San Juan from. We went out for dinner and drinks the night we arrived, and the hotel watched our bags while we explored the forts in Old San Juan the next day. Once we were ready to board the ship they called a taxi for us. We loved this hotel. It was very unique and had beautiful views of the city and port. We will definitely stay there again.

Embarkation- So easy. We arrived at the dock around 2. We already had our funpass filled out. Walked right in, dropped our bags and went right up stairs. There was no line. Check-in only took about 5 minutes. We went to the duty free, bought our booze which we carried in our bags, as well as water and soda and boarded the ship. Attended the Sail Away party! It was lots of fun!
