This was our 5th Carnival cruise and as always we had a blast! We booked this mini trip to get away for the Thanksgiving holiday. Carnival has yet to let us down:)

EMBARKATION-We drove to the pier and had no issues checking in. The lines were long, but they're always long and if you are prepared with all your cruise documents, sail pass, ID, etc. it makes the line go much quicker (hint!)

NASSAU-This was our 3rd time in Nassau so we had done all the shopping, stingray tours, etc. We just wanted to relax and be on the beach! This being our 6th cruise, we quickly learned not to book shore tours thru the ships. They are over priced and usually loaded with kids. Nothing against kids, but I wanted to get away from all that. We took a taxi ($15USD) both ways to an all-inclusive resort called Breezes. We paid $40USD per person and were allowed to use the resort amenities until 6pm. This was such a great idea and I highly recommend this if you're going to Nassau.
