DAY 1 - EMBARKATION We arrived at the port around 1:00 AM. They had several staff checking people in and it went quickly and efficiently. We went right up on deck and got some lunch at the Windjammer. Our luggage took a while (>4 pm) to arrive so we didn't unpack until later. One of our bags was held up until 7 pm or later due to there being a small pocketknife accidently left in the bag. We kept calling trying to find the bag and eventually we assumed that it was left on the pier (my husband's dinner clothes included). It finally arrived after my husband went to Guest Services and filled out a form accounting for the little knife but it was frustrating finding out who in fact had the bag. We had a Grand Suite and it was huge, with plenty of room for everything. Getting underway from Ft. Lauderdale is fun because there are several ships departing simultaneously and its like a parade of ships leaving the harbor, music playing on each one. Its very festive! Our muster drill was held at 4:30 PM. We went outside to the lifeboat station and got through all the long waiting while people found their way to the station. We booked the early dinner seating and as a family of 5 we had requested a small table of
