We flew in to Ft Lauderdale the day before so we could ensure we did not miss our cruise due to unexpected flight delay. Since we arrived in the evening we just needed a clean bed, no frills accommodation and hotel rooms were running in the hundreds. We checked into the Roadway Inn for $150.00, they also offered free shuttle from the airport to the hotel and then from the hotel to the cruise port in the morning.

Embarkation: Princess has a loyalty program and we made Platinum level, as Platinum members my partner and I were able to walk right into the cruise terminal, walk to Preferred check in and get onboard the ship in what was an absolutely remarkable 5 or 10 minutes time.

Our room: A Balcony, great view, clean and plenty or storage. I was happy we could slide our suitcases under the bed, there must have been 18 inches of room from top to bottom so even the largest suitcases slide under with ease. We had a knock at the door that revealed complimentary treats from our online agent. (bottle of wine, tote bags, and Deluxe canapEs that tasted delicious). As a thank you to them we booked our next cruise to the Mexican Baha Peninsula through them.....best prices and free gifts? Booking through them was an easy decision.
