Sail Date: Jan 2008

My family and I set out on our vacation of a lifetime thinking the Carnival Triumph would be a safe bet. We were sadly mistaken.

This ship truly is a nice ship it is kept fairly clean, the only unclean area we found was the main dining room to the rear of the ship, it smelled like mildew or mold, keep in mind if you dine in this hall you are sure to hear the roar of the engine all through diner unless you are at port.

The overall dining experience at the dining hall however was excellent. The alternative dining is scarce and vary limited hours of operations, and some of it not that good. Try the Pizza it is good, the NY Deli can make an O.K. Sandwich but the burger buffet is usually crowded and fries old and soggy because of advance cooking.
