We flew into Miami and took a cab right to the ship on the day of embarkation. Cab from the airport to the pier is $24. Embarkation was the easiest possible - we literally walked through each line and on to the next. We were onboard by 1:00.

For this cruise it was just my husband and myself, both 30 with no children. This was our 5th cruise, 3rd with NCL. Others were Royal Caribbean & Princess. We are very easy going vacationers, so we are never too critical or demanding. Some people seem to complain about the least inconvenience, but I guess that is their perogative. One lady was even complaining about the number of times they had to check your ID card as we were boarding the ship! Unless something is really an issue, we usually let it go and just enjoy the cruise. So keep that in mind with this review.

We thought the ship was just beautiful! Everything was in perfect condition and well decorated. We just had an inside cabin. It was small, of course, but had adequate storage for our clothes, etc. The bathroom was a good size and had nice little shelves to keep all of our stuff organized. The room steward kept our room made-up and turned-down every day, although we never actually met him. But that was fine with us.
