This was our 4th Princess cruise and our 11th total. We are in out early 40's and went with another couple in their 40's.

We departed DFW for SJU on Fri and spent the night at the Holiday Inn. We used taxis for all of our transportation with no problems.

Sat: We left the Holiday Inn at 10:38 after deciding we would take a chance of getting on early. We heard the port was very crowded. About 11:30 they began to allow people to go through the gates. You must check your larger baggage with a porter but you keep your carry on sizes. We were the first ones in line for our deck. After getting checked in, we went through security. We were on the Crown and having lunch in the HC a little after noon. We also made reservations for the two specialty restaurants, used the gym, watched MUTS, etc... We got off to explore the forts and look around a bit. After our 2nd seating traditional dinner we went p to sail away. I ordered drinks as we were sailing away and had strawberry daiquiri mix thrown all over me by the bartender. I was covered head to toe. Hey, accidents happen but I was angered that the bartender blew it off and kept making drinks. I then went to the Pursers desk and they told me to place my pants and shirt in laundry bags and call them. I went to shower and called the Pursers desk and told them I didn't have any laundry bags and they said they wouldn't come get them tonight anyway and to just leave them in the room. So, I did that and returned to the sail away party. We then went to the disco and the casino. Great night with the exception of the poor attitude I got at the Pursers desk.
