We decided to cruise again with NCL (our 5th cruise), this time aboard the Jewel. We had been on the Sun, Dawn, and Spirit, but wanted to try another cruise out of Miami! We were not disappointed.

Embarkation

Because my wife was awaiting spinal surgery, we needed a wheelchair. As soon as we walked in the door we saw an NCL staffmember with an empty chair who was glad to help us out. He pushed from the door to the room with only a smile! I was actually impressed considering the horror stories I had read here. Maybe we were lucky but embarkation was as smooth as ever. 1/2 hour tops! People once on board though were clearly still in hyper aggressive travel mode..
