Okay, I admit it. This cruise exceeded my expectations. I was "forced" to go on this cruise as part of an extended family getaway. I had no say in the date, location, ship, etc. So—I went on this trip with some reservations. But, I was pleasantly surprised. I'll give you the positives and negatives first and then some tips for making it a good experience!

Positives: - Room location on deck seven near mid-ship elevators - quiet and convenient - Room with balcony - wonderful to eat breakfast outside or relax with a book - Dining room food and service was exceptional - Embarkation was smoother than expected - Club 02 gave my teen-age son a place to hang-out - The magician/illusionist show was great - Saw tons of fish on the Seaworld Explorer Semi-Sub tour in Grand Cayman - Enjoyed a beautiful day at Chankanaab National Park in Cozumel - Great hot chocolate in Restaurant Cezanne - Breakfast in Monet was wonderful

Negatives: - Lido breakfast after 10:30 was marginal - Restaurant Cezanne could be cleaner - Opening show was not worth staying up for - Lost Sail and Sign card used by someone to buy drinks - Lounge/public space dEcor over the top - Room service never quite got it right - Disembarkation—even with self assist—took longer than expected
