The Golden Princess needs a remodel! We were so excited to select a Mini Suite. I made it clear we wanted a convertible bed and a tub... a real Mini Suite. They booked us room D733 a Handicapped version of a Mini Suite but far from what we expected or would even consider staying in. After dealing with the purser with an "attitude" we went to an Ocean View room on the Aloha deck. We had taken the Grand Princess and thought that her sister ship would be as nice. Not so! Room D733 has worn carpet, mildewed tile floors in the toilet/shower area, a ramp to the toilet, stained carpet and old furniture. Food was O.K not great. No eggs cooked to order, long lines and congestion in Buffet area. Staff was generally unfriendly. Fitness room is a joke. Several treadmills broken, gym way too small due to they have a large room for exercise and Yoga where they can make more $$$$. Ship makes you feel like you are in a cattle car. Customers relations is a pain to deal with ....it has been over 4 weeks and nothing has been compensated for. I would not recommend this ship and we have cruised on many lines.
