We flew in a day early and stayed at Sheraton Yankee Clipper. We had a great corner room on the 7th floor facing the beach-but from across the street. Although we found out later that our toilet didn't always want to flush and our sink didn't always want to drain. We complained but they did nothing for us. Just as we had fallen asleep, we found out just how loud having a room on the main drag is. There were 5 squad cars that had pulled over a car and had him surrounded at gun point. That was only part of the fun. Later we had front row seats to our very own motorcycle drag show. Not cool. Very loud. We hardly got any sleep that night...
We ate at Bahia Cubana (across the street and down a little. It was very good- great view, right on the marina.
I woke up to DH saying "Our ship has arrived!" Only to see that it was true! Since we checked in at night, we didn't know we also had a great view of Port Everglades!
