INTRODUCTION
This was the ninth cruise for my partner and myself, but the first on both P&O and Arcadia, so we looked forward to the experience with some trepidation. I can say, though, from the outset, we need not have worried. We chose this ship and line for the itinerary: Southampton - Stavanger - Flåm - Olden - Trondheim - Honningsvåg (North Cape) - Tromsø - Andalsnes - Bergen - Southampton, and for the time of year - my partner is a teacher. So were most of the other passengers, it seemed. Of every couple we met, at least one was a teacher or retired teacher.
