Home office staff: It was a wonderful experience to deal with the customer service department at NCL. Even though I booked through an agency, they were more than willing to answer any of my questions before the cruise. I was not always able to get a quick response from my travel agent because I would have to leave a message and wait for a call back.
Embarkation: This was as painless as could be. We got to the pier at around 10:30am and were on the ship by 11:45am. We were held in a comfortable waiting area until the ship was ready. We were provided with coffee, juice and water while we waited. Very professional. The check-in agent was delightful and efficient.
The ship: What can I say but WOW! It was clean and very elegant. The Garden Cafe was clean and airy. It was nice to be able to go sit and eat in La Cucina when the Garden Cafe did not have any seats.
