WE spent Christmas on the Crown Princess. It is a very big ship and although not totally crowded,it seemed we waited in line a fair bit.Our cabin was beautiful, a balcony on Caribe deck where the balconies are a fair bit bigger than on other decks. We really liked the layout and the closets. Embarkation was pretty efficient. We chose anytime dining which is our preference and waited no longer than 5 minutes for a table. Other than 2 nights we were able to get a table for 2 and the service was excellent. We are fairly fussy about food and thought the food was generally very good to excellent. They made a special effort on Christmas Eve and it was lovely. We ate 1 night in the Crown Grill and highly recommend it. Buffet was fine. I wish Princess would just up their prices a bit instead of charging for ice cream etc. The Islands were a good choice and we really enjoyed snorkeling in Bonaire where we just walked down the road and paid the $5 day pass at the Plaza resort. The 4 Wheel drive around St Kitts was excellent as was the sail and Snorkel in Aruba(Princess Tours). We also booked with Mandoo in Granada and really enjoyed his tour.(mandoo@grandatours.com) The ship is fairly confusing because of the size and the signage could be improved. My husband was always looking for me and could never navigate all the fore and aft directions without better directions. It is quite beautiful and well kept.
