The first thing I want to say is if you are going on a cruise get a suite!!! Getting on the ship was the fastest and easiest thing I think that I have ever done. V.I.P is the way to go. They whisked us into a private room infront of everyone in line and we were literally on board with drinks in hand in less than 20 min. I went on this cruise with several others and for 3 of us it was our first and the other 2 were seasoned travelers who knew all the ropes. So when I saw the ship i was just in awe of how big it was. It was beautiful. I couldn't believe that it wouldn't sink. the others just laughed. Our first port was Grand Cayman- What a beautiful place. We did the sting ray excursion through carnival. I'm glad i did it but will never swim with the sting rays again. it was entirely to freaky. Rum point was a great place. i just wish we could have stayed there longer. It was a little expensive but what do you expect while on vacation? After the excursion we went shopping for the normal things like RUM of course. and a few other things for family members. Our second port was Honduras-We booked through Victor Boden for the zip line and tours. As it turned out victor was our tour guide. it was great. We got right to the zip line and we were the first ones there. it was a great experience and put us all to the test! Afterwards we toured to Victors house and saw spider monkeys that were just the cutest ever. He took us to the beach, shopping and the price was the best.

Our next stop-Belize!!! Getting off the ship was easy as our tour catamaran picked us up right at the ship. since this was a tender port. We snorkeled and it was the best excursion for me it think. We then went to a little island corner and relaxed and got henna tattoos. When we got back to the ship we had to get back on a tender to go to town to shop and sight see. It wasn't too bad as most of the people were already off the ship.

Our last stop was Cozumel- There was a storm coming so they cancelled all water excursions. which i was looking forward to snorkeling again as it was so much fun. but better safe than sorry. So what else was there to do there beside hit all the bars and shop. We were the lucky ones to make it back to the ship on time as we did see some people standing on the dock as we were pulling out. So sad for them. Needless to say that night on the ship was very wavy and we stayed in our rooms to ride out the storm. Our room steward was the greatest-She was sick the first few days but she made up for it the rest of the cruise. I got very spoiled on this cruise. I will definitely be taking another but this time i hope that my husband will go. The service on the Valor was outstanding, the drink prices were typical, and the crew very friendly. There were a couple of uptight crew members but what do you expect for not having a day off for 8 months. i think that i would be the same. Just a little advice-dont play around during the muster drill!!
