First of all, for first time cruisers, be aware that port authority personnel are apparently part time retirees, that have no connection with Carnival so are not aware of many fine details of the cruise.

We did back to back cruises, a 6 day Southern Caribbean, then get off the ship for 30 minutes, great to leave the luggage and have the same room to get back on 30 minutes later, but several minor to medium foul-ups with back to back travelers, about l70 of us on a 3200 person ship, groups (ours was 70) should be treated better on back to back cruises.

For the money, this ship was a great value, with plenty of food and value for the money. Three ports the first week and four the second week made this pre Christmas a shopper's delight.
