This cruise was the first for my husband and the second for me. We are in our early thirties and we were attracted to carnival because of it's value and fun reputation. And I have to say we were not disappointed.

We live in Arizona so we spent the night in San Diego. We stayed at the Holiday Inn - Downtown which we booked online. Our stay was the least impressive part of the vacation. The rooms were old, the hallways smelled, and the staff was not friendly. I would not stay there again.
