Ship Facts: Carnival Glory Review (by Cruise Critic!) | Carnival Glory Deck Plans
Great time!
Being from Jacksonville,Fl. I had my husband drive my mother and I to Port Canaveral and drop us off. That saved us about $84.00 in parking fees. Embarkation was very smooth. Maybe 20 min tops from arrival to boarding. The ship was beautiful and decorated for christmas. Stopped at the Red sail on the lido for a quick bite to eat. Then My mother and I went to explore. I did find that being on the tenth floor, forward was sometimes difficult to get an elevator right away. Also,Our dining room was on the third floor aft which was a bit of a walk to get to. But we soon had it down to a science. Dinner was a treat, wonderful waiter and table mates. Food was a nice selection with alot of alternatives now added to the menu. I enjoyed all the meals. I did try the warm chocolate melting cake once. I did not care for it.Tasted like uncooked cake batter, gritty, yuck! However my mother loved it so, go figure? They had several special buffets,The Grand Gala with desserts and Ice carvings and the Chocolate buffet...You name it it was on there even chocolate sushi!(DID NOT TRY) Mexican Buffet on the lido with wonderful desserts too. Really a lot of food. Went to the family comedy show, Magic show and the newly wed game the captains welcome party and the past guest party.all good! The Lounge singer in the casino was the pits. Now, I know what Simon Cowell means. The Casino was ok. Not alot of choice on nickle or pennies so they were always full. There was a non smoking section in the casino that was new.

Cozumel was fun lots and lots of shops. Found better deals on silver in belize though. Was quite windy so alot of excursions were cancelled. It was a rough night at sea prior to arrival in cozumel seas were about 12-15 feet boy did you feel it.

Belize was nice. Lots of shopping places but every one wanted you to buy an excursion with them maybe asked 50+ times so be prepared. Had to Tender to Belize. Long tender and seas were still rough Make sure you have good sea legs. You can buy most brand named prescription drugs here Cheap. From Penicillin to viagra and Lipitor to Loratab.

Roatan, I had been here before. Very very Poor. Our Table mate said he would swim back to the boat because you couldn't pay him to stay on that island. Really,The excursion to Parrot bay was nice. But the shopping where the ship docks "coxen Hole" Is a dump.

Freeport, Been here 5 times. I prefer nassau. Taxi's are $5 per person one way. There is some shopping right at the port.

Overall, It was a great trip go with an open mind and don't expect everything to be perfect and you'll have a great time.

Debarkation was easy as pie.
