This was our second DCL cruise and our first on the Magic. We were on the Wonder with our children in August. The location of our cabin was really great, near Beat Street and easy access to just everything. In August we were on deck 5, also forward and we liked it. I was very pleased with the cat 12, there was more than enough room for me and DH and all our stuff, and our bags fit well under the bed. We survived well without the split bathroom too. We didn't mind not having a window, since DH needs the tv on all nite!

Embarkation was easy and painless. We got boarding pass 12, but we didn't wait too long, it moved rather quickly. Since it was just DH and I we passed on the embarkation picture.

We got on board and headed over to guest services to book the Martini and Tequila tastings and the galley tour. I was disappointed later on when I found out there was another martini tasting that had different martini's. The CM at guest services was obviously new, and needs some "seasoning".
