We are a couple in our late twenties who has been on one other Royal Caribbean cruise. This was a 4 night Bahamas cruise to Nassau, Coco Cay, and Key West.
Embarkation- Not fun! We arrived at the port around 2pm and waited in the check-in line for almost an hour. The lady who checked us in told us that the wait was unusually not as long. Next cruise we will arrive at the port closer to noon.
Stateroom- We had a window room on deck 8 with an obstructed view. We were aware of the obstructed view upon purchasing the ticket, so it was no surprise to us. Fortunately, the obstructed window still allowed light to shine in, which was all we really cared about anyway. There were however, fleeting moments when I wished I could see the shoreline or more of the ocean. The room was small but clean, and the beds pushed together were comfortable. I could feel the crack between the beds, but the soft and sturdy linens on the bed made up for it. The bathroom was okay, too! It had a removable showerhead, decent water pressure, and plenty of hot water.
