A little background. We have taken 31 cruises and this was the first on NCL. We booked this three days prior to sailing as a little getaway. They reduced the cruise-rate to a great price at the last minute. It We chose an inside because a balcony was a waste in NY a few days before Xmas.

The ship was very nice, It was very colorful, but not as gaudy as we expected. We loved the enormous screen television in the lobby. We watched most of football game and it was fun to see it on a two story wall.

The interior cabin was tiny. After taking a few steps into it, I went back into the hallway to see if we went in the wrong room, and it was actually the broom closet. This was hands down the smallest cabin I have seen on a newer ship. The last small cabin like this was on the Nordic Empress, which has already been retired from US cruises. We couldn't go next to the sides of the bed without sitting on the bed and moving our legs under the corner of a little table. The bed wasn't even the usual length. My feet hung over the end, even though I was all the way by the headboard. I am tall. but this never happened before on a ship.
