We arrived in Ft Lauderdale on the 8th of Dec and were met by a Princess Representative who put on a bus to go to our hotel (Marriott North Ft. Lauderdale). We decided on this cruise not to fly the red-eye because it's very exhausting and your tried when you get on the ship. The hotel was very nice. On the 9th we were transferred to the ship and had no wait at all, we walked right up to a window an onto the ship. Our cabin was great but the best part was the very large balcony. We were on the back of the ship on an end and we had two chaise lounges and 2 chairs plus a table. The only problem we had with this cruise beside Tropical Storm Olga was our cabin number was the same as the voyage number. So we had many other peoples bags sent to our room, people trying to get into our room and phone calls looking for other people beside us. The problem you see was the the Voyage number that Princess assigned this cruise was the same as our cabin number and that was printed on everyones card. We really enjoyed "Anytime Dining". We were always able to get a table for 2 with no wait. The fact that the Captain was able to take us to another port because had to bypass St. Maarten was a special treat. We've sailed the Eastern Caribbean before and had never been to St. Maarten, but had also never been to Grand Turk. We are looking forward to our trip next October 2008 to Tahiti on the Tahitian Princess.
