We just got back from a wonderful cruise on the Oosterdam. Where do I begin? Everything about this ship was truly an experience we won't shortly forget. This ship is beautiful! Easy to get around and within the first few hours it truly became our home. The crew were so attentive and friendly. Our ship's steward was impeccable. Our room was a little smaller than we had expected but larger than any other we had on other cruise ships. This a 5 star ship! Most of the crew was Indonesian and Filipino. Sweetest. hard working people you could ever meet
The show were so entertaining we even stayed to watch again missing dinner one nite. Our ship's Captain David was wonderful, so talented and kind. He works so hard. Julie Barr is the ship's comedian..so funny! Singers and dancers too were great. I could go on and on but it really was just wonderful.
We will probably sail again on Holland America. It is an excellent shipline. I highly recommend this cruise to others.
