Ft. Lauderdale: We arrived a day early to insure that we, and our luggage, would arrive safely in time for the cruise. Our group stayed at the Marriott Hotel and Marina. We were given a lovely room on the 9th floor overlooking the port. Even though we booked the room on Priceline, we were treated very well by the staff.

We arrived at the pier at 11:45am. Embarkation was very smooth and we were on the ship by 12:15pm. This was our first Celebrity cruise and I thought the personal escort and glass of champagne were a nice touch.

Cabin: We stayed in FV cabin #7204. What a fabulous cabin! There was plenty of room for my dh, my 3yo dd and myself. What really makes this cabin is the balcony. We spent quite a bit of time during the cruise relaxing on the lounge chairs watching the wake.
