My wife and I travelled on the Carnival Glory to the Western Caribbean. Our sail dates were12/1/07-12/8/07. This was my first cruise and my wife's 4th cruise with Carnival. I am 25 and my wife is 24 and we went on this cruise for our honeymoon.

Travel to ship - We flew into Orlando airport as we were embarking from Port Canaveral. We flew in the day before in case there was any flight delays and we suggest you do this too. There are plenty of hotels within a couple of miles of the Port and most of them offer shuttle service to the Port. We rented a car from Hertz and we returned the car Saturday morning. They also have a shuttle that took us to the port. In terms of getting to the Port from Orlando airport, I suggest renting a car. To take the Carnival bus, it cost $35/person and to rent a car it cost about $40. For most people travelling in groups, renting a car is more economical and it is also necessary if you are flying in the day before.

Embarkation - Went very smoothly. We got there at about 11:30 and we were on the Cruise in under an hour. Make sure to have your passport and your FunPass handy because you will be showing them to a lot of people. You will also need a credit card to set up your Sail & Sign account. There was lunch available right away and plenty of servers with drinks. *Suggestion* - If you need to change your dining time, do this right after you get on the ship. You will most likely need to go to the dining room to do this. They make a waiting list, so the sooner you get there, the better. We did it right away and were first on the list.
