Sail Date: Nov 2007

This was my second trip on the Fantasy this year. I had also sailed in August. The comments I make are for the most part valid for both trips.

Embarkation: Lines were long but appeared to move very quickly. I am platinum so I was able to go with VIP boarding for both trips. I had to wait a little the first trip but enjoyed meeting the others in the lounge so the wait didn't seem that long. After checking in, at my request, the rep walked me past the picture line directly to the station for having my picture put on the sail and sign card. I understand they escorted you onto the ship if you asked but I didn't feel it was necessary.

Cabins: Since I was the group leader for large groups on both these trips I left myself without a roommate in case someone needed one at the last minute. My DH was going to fill the spot in August but had to cancel so I had cabin U137 all to myself. My roommate in November also had a family emergency and had to cancel at the last minute so I had V5 all alone. U137 was a oceanview, very good central location. V5 was a forward verandah suite.... not really private since you could look on to the balcony from the observation deck on the front of the verandah deck. You could also see onto the bridge and visa versa. The minisuite was very well appointed. Only complaint... it was right under the gym...lots of noise in the early am. Excellent service by cabin attendants both times.
