I'll keep this brief and too the point. My wife and I had a great time last week sailing the Western Carb. on the Grand Princess. We've sailed more than a dozen cruises and this one was as good as all of them. It's a great way to take a vacation and relax.

Embarkation was easy, as we arrived at the Port around 11:30 and were in our cabin 15 minutes after they started boarding at noon. The ship, while almost ten years old is still in outstanding shape and did not show the wear that others have led us to believe, Princess is taking good care of this ship as they do all of them. Our favorite relaxation location was the Conservatory on Deck 15, it is wonderful spot to read or just layback.

We choose anytime dining and have come to really like this option, it gives you the latitude to set your own schedule and make daily choices about what you want to do. You control your schedule. The food in the Horizon Court buffet was satisfactory, and the main restaurant food was also quite good, with exceptional service.
