This was my first cruise and first time going to the caribbean. I am in my mid thirties and have no children and travelled with family members.

We flew into Miami the day before on the 29th and spent the night at the La Quinta Airport East Hotel. Once we received our luggage we called the hotel for the free shuttle to the hotel and were told they would be there in a few minutes. We stood right at the curb and waited for an hour. Three other ladies were waiting as well that were on our flight. She called them and they said that they had picked up people already and came back. Ten minutes later saw their van and we all waved him down but once again his van was full, we said we've been waiting for over an hour and he just shrugged his shoulders said he'd be back and left. When we did get to the hotel and got into our room and used their bathroom and the toilet overflowed. A hotel associate came up and said he was going to put us in their suite room for all our troubles that night, he tried hard to please us. They also gave free shuttle to the Miami cruise port.

Embarkation Embarkation was a breeze. We left our hotel at 11 am and were at the port by 11:15 am. Everything went fast and smooth and never had to wait in a line. By 11:30 we were allowed to drop off our carry-ons in the room but couldn't stay so we toured the beautiful ship and had some lunch in the Garden Cafe.
