Carnival Liberty sailing 9/29/07

First and foremost. In case you have not heard, a woman killed her husband on this sailing. We found this out the last night of the cruise. Two guards were posted on deck 8, 5 cabins up from friends of ours. This happened on Wednesday night early evening. The air lifted the body from the ship Friday morning, and the code they were announcing was code 5 and 7 on the loud speaker. They posted two 24 hour guards at the cabin door to protect the crime scene. This is no rumor folks, we heard from the older couple that was right next to this cabin. Nothing is in the paper yet, but having been monitoring the cruise bruise web site for more details.

A total of 10, 5 couples went on the Carnival Liberty sailing on 9/29/07. We flew in the day before and stayed at the Sea Club Resort at the beach in Fort Lauderdale. I highly recommend this motel. Yes it is a old retro motel, that I am sure in the 70's it was the best place on the beach. The face is, it is a older motel, but for the price, you can't beat it. $70.00 a night, and it's on the beach. It's clean, and for a one night stay before a cruise, you can't go wrong. The Deck at the motel, as it is called, is a outside restaurant and bar, with Karaoke Queen Bernadette on Friday's and Sundays. This was a blast !! Bernadette knows how to party it up. The entire crowd was joining in and having fun. Oh yeah, I am 39, and there were all age groups in my party, from 39 up to 60. Everyone enjoyed everything.
