Some background..my husband and I are both in our 50's and have cruised many times..our favorite being Princess cruises. We stayed at the Hyatt Regency Pier 66 one night before cruising and although the hotel was near the port and very clean we found that there was a very limited amount of things to do..no entertainment...very limited menu at the restaurants, etc. The pool area was lovely and we did enjoy it, but will probably choose a different hotel next time in Ft. Lauderdale.

Embarking was a joy.,.I am an elite Captain Circle member and we were boarded at 12 Noon and on the ship in less than 15 minutes.

Our cabin was a balcony on Baja Deck. Very convenient to all. The bathrooms are small the the shower is tiny, but there is ample closet and drawer space for everything..and I always overpack..
